I Can Read Level 5!!

At the beginning of the year I couldn't read but now I am reading Level 5!! I know all my letters and sounds now and I know all my sights words on my Magenta, Red, and Yellow lists.

Sight Words

I am learning lots of sight words now. I can read them by myself and I can write them.

My Self Portrait

We drew our faces then we carefully coloured them in with pastels. We learned about alliteration and we chose a describing word to go with our name!

Working Out The Missing Number

I am learning to complete the number sentence by working out the missing number. We had to work out things like 3 + ? = 5 and 6 + ? = 9. It was tricky to do in my head so we used crocodiles to work it out but it's still tricky. We will practice more in class.

Fractions

I am learning about fractions. Fractions are hard!
